Sensei Tabata Visits Bermuda for Training Seminar

Sensei Tabata held a seminar in Bermuda the weekend of 16th December, 2011. The seminar took place at the Francis Patton Dojo Friday 16th from 6:00 to 8:30, and Saturday and Sunday morning from 9:00 am to Noon. Everyone who attended the seminar had great fun, although fun might not be the correct word to use. Sensei Tabata put us through some grueling techniques and pushed us to our limits. By Sunday lunch time I think we were all happy that it was finished.

He arrived on Friday and was taken to lunch by Sensei Charles Butterfield and Sensei Paget Wharton. The three of them also took some flowers to Sensei Vernon Simons' grave.

Sunday evening a dinner was held at Tina Caton's house for Sensei Tabata. Although the weather was not very cooperative, her husband was still able to barbeque for us. A good time was had by all who attended. Sensei Tabata was presented with a Cedar Pen and Pencil Set.

So get ready for his return which undoubtedly will be even more grueling as it has been proposed that it will be a lock down for the whole weekend.
